My name is Tindall Morring. I am originally from Huntsville, Alabama and I am currently a junior at Auburn University. I have always loved kids and known I wanted to work with them since high school but education is such specific major I decided to play it safe and be a business major along with everyone else when I first came to Auburn. I figured that was a broad  major and I could do most anything with a business degree. After taking a couple business courses I quickly realized that the business world was not for me. I had a calling for helping kids and decided to change my major to Early Childhood Education after my second semester of my freshman year. My family consists of my little brother, my mom, my dad, and me and we have been extremely close my whole life. My dad has been bringing my brother and I to Auburn football games for as long as I can remember and so when it came time to apply for college I knew Auburn was where I wanted to be.  Although I was so excited for college and all the opportunities and adventures it would bring, I was nervous to leave home. I went to a small private school and so I grew up with the same kids from kindergarten to senior year of high school. I was so aprehensive about the transition but within weeks Auburn quickly made me feel at home. Auburn is such a special place, it has helped me grow, learn, and I truly consider it a second home. When I am not consumed with classes homework I enjoy spending time with my friends and volunteering with kids whenever I can. My mom works for The Boys and Girls Club and she is where my passion for kids came from. Going to volunteer with those kids was always the highlight of my week and so it has been a huge joy to be able to spend some time at The Boys and Girls Clubs around Auburn. Part of my love for kids comes form being an older sister, like I said before my family is just the two of us so my brother and I are best friends. He is three years younger than I am so growing up early on I always had to watch over him, help in with homework and babysit while mom and dad were gone, I'm  a very protective big sister. My friends, after high school I truly thought no one would be able come close to comparing to my best friend but once again, Auburn proved me to be wrong and was there for me. Auburn has brought me the most incredible friends. The support me, make me laugh, and inspired each day and without them I would not have made it this far without them. I hope you now feel like you know a little bit more about me.
